Our Story

Flesh & Blood beauty balm is made from three sustainable ingredients: tallow, organic extra virgin olive oil, and organic Bulgarian lavender oil. 

Tallow's use in skincare has long been overlooked, in a society that encourages eating meat, rapid consumption, and exponential waste. As opposed to vegan skincare, the use of tallow in your beauty routine helps re-purpose a byproduct of meat consumption; this is inspired by the Native American way of life, in which they used every part of the buffalo. Flesh & Blood's formula is derivative of an age-old farmer's recipe for diaper balm, and is just that gentle; perfect for sensitive skin. 

The tallow is rendered from grass-fed, sustainably-farmed suet, filtered at least six times, combined with just the right amount of olive oil and lavender, and then piped into glass jars--the heated product having never touched plastic.
